A Ski Boat Moves With Constant Velocity

A ski boat moves with constant velocity. is the net force acting on the boat doing work? explain why or why not? also, explain why kinetic energy is a consideration when assessing constant velocity.. The boat is moving at a constant velocity; that's a given. that means that the net external force on the boat must be zero. but if i use work = force x displacement, even though the velocity is constant there is still some displacement done by the (constant) force acting on it.. Ap physics concept questions (no answers) study. play. a ski boat moves with constant velocity. is the net force acting on the boat doing work? explain.... a youngster rides on a skateboard with a speed of 2 m/s. after a force acts on the youngster, her speed is 3 m/s. was the work done by the force positive, negative, or zero?.

A ski boat moves with constant velocity. is the net force acting on the boat doing work? explain. a package rests on the floor of an elevator that is rising with constant speed. the elevator exerts an upward normal force on the package, and hence does positive work on it. why doesn't the kinetic energy of the package increase? 10. an object. A boat is able to move through still water at a constant velocity of 20 m/s and makes a round trip. what is the time taken by the boat if the this only involves the forward thrust and drag of the boat.. That is assuming you mean that you will be on the ship that is under constant velocity and you will jump straight upward. that is how i read the question. since you share the velocity of the ship it would be no different than jumping up on land (which by the way is moving as the earth rotates)..
